What is the average GP per kill Zulrah? ›

Zulrah is a high level boss that requires relatively high combat stats and equipment to kill. Zulrah is commonly killed for its profitability due to its consistent drops averaging about 157,746.00 per kill.

Although Zulrah has no melee defence in any form, Zulrah can only be reached with a halberd-type weapon, and even then, is immune to melee damage. The ranged and magic attacks will envenom the player should it hit, or if it would have dealt damage if blocked by a protection prayer.

When using the rapid attack style on the toxic blowpipe, up to 3,000 darts may be fired per hour, equating to up to 2,000 Zulrah's scales used per hour.

The magic spell that is best is the spell Blood Blitz or Blood Barrage. It's on the ancients spellbook so you will have to change your spellbook for it. The spell hits pretty accurate on Zulrah and it heals for 25% of the damage inflicted.

Regular Void will work, but Elite Void is highly recommended. Within the instance, Zulrah will spawn multiple snakelings with 1hp – which makes the Ring of Suffering, or at least Ring of Recoil absolutely necessary for the entirety of the fight.

Zulrah is only weak to Ranged while in tanzanite (blue) form; therefore, it is best to opt for a Magic-based approach.

This guide is aimed towards players who wish to kill Zulrah using a mage-only loadout. While a mage-only loadout does not provide optimal kills per hour, it is arguably the easiest method when it comes to learning the mechanics of the boss and obtaining the 1 kill required for the western hard diary.
